Hi! My name is Yuchen Wu (吴雨宸 in Chinese). I’m a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Washington, advised by Prof. Aylin Caliskan. My research is on personalized safety and alignment of LLMs, and on LLM agents that plan, use tools, and manage memory over long horizons. I’m currently a Research Fellow in the Anthropic Fellows Program, working on AI alignment, safety, and coding.
Before coming to UW, I worked with Prof. Keiji Yanai at UEC, Prof. Yong Li at Tsinghua, and Prof. Bhiksha Raj, Prof. Yuejie Chi and Prof. Laixi Shi at CMU.
